Day 5 Oberwald to St Moritz

We left Oberwald with the intention of finding a coffee shop as the facilities at the last hotel were basic however our minds were soon taken off food and drink due to the fantasttic scenery of the Oberalp pass

The journey should  have taken us 3.5 hrs but it took us nearly 5 as we kept stopping to take photos and we found a great little road side cafe at Solisbrucke that was next to two beautiful stone bridges one for traffic the other for walkers that gave fantastic views of a valley Photos to follow when we get home but they do not do it justice

As we got closer the St Moritz we travelled the Julierpass, again with some fantastic views

We arrived at the hotel to find it very quaint with elborate wood work and chairs made out of deer antlers in the reception area our room was on a corner with balcony that offered some great views of the town and lake

We booked in and went for a walk around and found St Mortiz to have nothing but designer shop and the amount of Roll Royce and Bentley was  unbelievable definatly a money area We stopped off at a local bar that sold traditional clothing beer and food and we sat listening to a guy playing the acordion and yodelling

We saw one of the local wealthy walking round in a cashmere tracksuit  we later saw the jacket in a shop of over £200

Time for bed once more.
